Overview

The eProductivity Reference database is a powerful productivity tool that you can use to store and organize all of your non-actionable items.

No installation required

You can use the eProductivity Reference database as a stand-alone file in Lotus Notes. There's nothing to install - simply download, open the file, and you're ready to go.

Optionally, you may download a Reference template that you can use to upgrade your Lotus Notes Journal or Notebook to become an eProductivity Reference database. All of your existing information will remain intact and ready to use. Learn more

If your browser is different than Internet Explorer, you can open the database in either of the two following ways:

On most computers, navigate to the Lotus Notes DATA directory where you saved the Reference database file. Find the Reference database file and double-click it. Notes will automatically open the database for you. If this does not work, you will need to open the database manually, using the instructions below.

To open the database manually, launch Lotus Notes. Now, hold down the ‘Ctrl’ Key and press the letter ‘O’. This will bring up the ‘Open’ dialog. From there, navigate to the location where you saved the downloaded Reference Database, select the file, and click 'Open'.

When you have opened the eProductivity Reference Database inside of Lotus Notes, you are ready to begin using it.

Security alerts

For your protection, your Notes Administrator may have configured Lotus Notes to alert you if you attempt to open a database that is not on its list of trusted sources. If so, when you first open the eProductivity Reference database, you may receive several security alerts.

If you receive these security alerts, you will need to indicate that you want to ‘trust’ this application to run on your computer. ‘Trusting' the signer of this database simply means that you have recognized it as safe and that you are comfortable with it performing its tasks. If you are not permitted to trust the signer, you will need to contact your Lotus Notes administrators.

Optional Configuration:

Optionally, you may download a Reference template that you can use to upgrade your Lotus Notes Journal or Notebook to become an eProductivity Reference database. All of your existing information will remain intact and ready to use. Learn more
